Currypool Equestrian Arena Hire Terms and Conditions

1. Definitions

• “The Arena” refers to the equestrian arena located at 109 Currypool, Cannington, nr Bridgwater, Somerset. TA5 2NH
• “The Hirer” refers to the individual or organisation hiring the arena.
• “The Horse(s)” refers to the horse(s) brought by the Hirer to use the arena.

2. Booking and Payment

• All bookings must be made online via www.equoevents.co.uk
• Payment must be made at the time of booking via.
• Cancellations made 48 hours or more in advance will be refunded in full. Cancellations within 24 hours will not be refunded.

3. Arena Use

• The Hirer is responsible for ensuring the Horse(s) are fit, healthy, and suitable for the intended use of the Arena.
• All Hirers and their guests must adhere to the Arena’s rules, which will be provided upon booking and displayed on-site.
• The Arena is hired out for private use only and may not be sub-let or shared unless agreed in advance with Currypool Equestrian.
• The Hirer must not exceed the allocated time slot. Overruns may result in additional charges.

4. Health and Safety

• The Hirer is responsible for the health, safety, and welfare of themselves, their Horse(s), and any accompanying persons.
• Appropriate riding attire, including riding hat to the current standard, must be worn at all times.
• No more than 5 horses are allowed in the Arena at one time unless otherwise agreed.
• The Hirer must ensure that any jumps or equipment used are left in a safe condition and put away after use.

5. Liability

• Currypool Equestrian accepts no responsibility for any injury, loss, or damage to persons, property, or Horse(s) during the hire period.
• The Hirer must hold adequate public liability insurance and provide proof upon request.
• The Hirer agrees to indemnify Currypool Equestrian against any claims arising from their use of the Arena.

6. Damage

• Any damage caused to the Arena or its equipment by the Hirer, their Horse(s), or guests must be reported immediately.
• The Hirer is liable for the cost of repairs or replacement of any damaged items.

7. Cleanliness

• The Hirer is responsible for leaving the Arena and surrounding areas clean and tidy.
• All droppings must be picked up immediately and care must be taken not to waste arena surface.
any rubbish must be disposed of in the bins provided.
• A cleaning charge may be applied if the Arena is not left in an acceptable condition.

8. Cancellation by Currypool Equestrian

• Currypool Equestrian reserves the right to cancel any booking due to unforeseen circumstances, such as adverse weather conditions, safety concerns, or maintenance issues. In such cases, a full refund or alternative booking will be offered.

9. Governing Law

• These terms and conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales, and any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

10. Acceptance of Terms

• By booking the Arena, the Hirer agrees to comply with these terms and conditions.
